Ex Oblivione
An ambient archive of human memory. Anonymous, poetic, and scattered like echoes in the world.
What is this?
Ex Oblivione is a poetic experiment and anonymous archive of human memory. It invites strangers to submit fragments of themselves — stories, confessions, sounds — and preserves those fragments as QR codes, scattered across the real world.
There are no names. No search. No list. No grid. To find one, you must stumble upon it. Like a voice caught on the wind.
Why?
...because not everything has to be seen to matter.
...because permanence can be quiet.
...because some voices want to be heard, even if they don't want to be
known.
This is a sanctuary for words with nowhere to go.
A quiet rebellion against the algorithm.
A place for memories to echo.
How does it work?
- You submit a story — written, spoken, or both. Any language is welcome.
- It's reviewed for appropriateness and tone, then (if accepted) lightly curated.
- A QR code is generated, linking to your story — hosted in its own quiet page.
- That code is printed and placed somewhere in the real world: a wall, a lamppost, a stairwell.
- There is no index. No gallery. No algorithm. You must find it by accident — or by fate.
Where is it stored?
Each accepted story is permanently archived using Arweave, a decentralized storage network that keeps data forever. It's like a time capsule that can't be lost, deleted, or buried.
Even if this website disappears. Even if this project ends. Your voice will not be lost.
